The Haunted Forest

Ahhh, the glamorous lives of The Debunkers of the Supernatural. Anytime you get a fellow (or two) in a pre-code story with the grand idea of “exposing some truth” you just know it’s going to turn out bad for them. We’re halfway through our look at the June 1954 issue of Web of Evil #15, two down and two to go!

Looks like I wasn't the only one traumatized by those damn apple trees in the Wizard of Oz as a kid! :)

Wow, these guys have debunked EVERY SUPERNATURAL PHENOMENON IN THE WORLD, and they're still only middle aged! They must work fast! And who knew there was a thriving "debunking business"? I thought the Amazing Randi was the only one who could make a living that way...

I love that the debunker says "Not the haunted forest! There's nothing phony about that place!" Dude, what kind of debunker are you?

NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS YESTERDAYS POST BUT STILL A REALLY WELL DONE HORROR TALE. I HOPE AFTER THIS ENTIRE ISSUE IS OVER THAT YOU WILL POST MORE WEB OF EVIL STORIES. THEY ARE ALOT OF FUN AND TO ME THE ART IS TOTALLY ON PAR WITH E.C.

Who's the artist on these Web Of Evil stories? The GCD page has no information.
