One more whack-a-doodle tale from the November 1953 issue of Mysteries Weird and Strange #4 (see previous post as well), and this time we're hangin' around the ominous old haunted house and having ourselves a truly swingin' time. Happy Friday the 13th to everyone too!

Circle of Death

If you haven't heard, Heritage Auctions has a handful of original, full-story Robert Webb / Iger Shop precode horror art becoming available in the next few weeks, (CLICK HERE for more info!) --and today's post is one of them. Annnnd after re-reading the ultra-lurid "Circle of Death" tale from the November 1953 issue of Mysteries Weird and Strange #4 a couple of things occurred to me: 1.) I wish I had added this to my Haunted Love mini series a few years back-- wah! and 2.) it's left me puzzled to why I've never posted it here at THOIA! GAG! Such a wonderfully mean spirited, gruesomely grim, scuzzy story-- why, I didn't even bother to clean up the scans as extensively as I usually do, just cuz! Hahahaha, enjoy?

Horror A La Mode

The Deadly Double

Time to watch another undeserving, murderous jackass meet his not-so-awful fate at the hands of the gorgeous gals he's destroyed. And hey, I don't know about you, but [SPOILER ALERT] eternal life with two sexy red head spooks might not actually be that bad-- know what I'm sayin'? Vampire Terror / Corpse, Come Back!

Time again for another deadly December Double Feature, and this time we have two forms of freaky foul living dead! I meant to post these kookball classics on xmas because of all the hilarious ho-ho-ho'ing going on in them both, and to be totally honest, I'm surprise neither of these weirdies have wound up posted here already over the years as the other two tales (of 4) in the July 1954 issue of Mysteries Weird and Strange #8 have been in the THOIA Archive for over a decade (Happily Dead), and the other one coming pretty darn close to 10 (Devil's Birthmark.) So check 'em all out if you haven't already, that's what the archive is for-- it's another FULL ISSUE now filed away forever in Mr. Karswell's Krypt.
