Endless rain in my area for a few days now, so here's a little reign for you as well! A weird switcheroo originally presented in the Spring 1952 issue of Astonishing #11, art by Sy Grudko.

Crimson Hands Against Him
I had a request for "The Hands of Murder", but since I already posted it HERE back in 2011, I thought I'd find another tale about terror mitts a'stranglin'-- and maybe this one from the September 1953 issue of Web of Mystery #20 will grab you. *claps at my own dumb joke :P

Horror Show! / Nightmare!
Two Astonishing Atlas tales to help scream in the new year and toss out the old! And since there are some of you that like to party, and some of you that enjoy simply staying in and watchin' the boob tube, I've scarefully chosen a story themed for each of you! Our first yarn transmitted from the April 1952 issue of Astonishing #12, and our second for you party animals, art courtesy of the great Joe Maneely-- from the December 1951 issue of Astonishing #7.
Happy New Year!!!

Mission of Lost Souls
Wrapping up September 2009 with a gorgeously illustrated Ace tale from the November 1954 issue of Web of Mystery #27. Seriously, artistically this one goes well above and beyond the call of duty (of the script) in the detail department, but most Ace stuff from this era was pretty top notch anyway. Okay, see ya'll in October-- tis the season to be screamin'!

Lair of the Black Widow
If you’ve somehow survived the inescapable whirlwind of Batman hoopla permeating nearly every portion of popular culture right now, then I’d like to take this moment to show you instead the super origin of someone else “special”, one who is rarely, if ever even talked about--- The Spider Man. And no, not THAT Spider Man, I mean Lucas Vilmar, the late great goateed Spidertologist at Trask U’s East River Laboratory. Never heard of him? Well then, pull up a web and let me tell you all about it now…

++++++++++++++++++++++++++
And from the lair of another black widow it's--- Tenebrous Kate from Love Train for the Tenebrous Empire! Barely escaping some indescribeable, unseen rapey beastie thing (just out of photo frame), TK discovers that by luckily procuring the horrific terrific new THOIA babydoll-tee (which doubles as a protective shield) she has thus won herself yet another day of movies, art, and other assorted lurid weirdness. Ahhh, precious life. Fantastique!
But then suddenly... AIEEEEEEEE!!!

Talisman of the Evil Brood
Before you read today's tale, heed this warning--- never scoff at the supernatural!

Invitation to Your Wake
Chuggin’ right along in the midst of our week-long tribute to ACE Comics, here’s your own invitation to another great yarn from Hand of Fate, (and thankfully no ghost narrator in this one!) Featuring lots of creepy monsters, a cat with a woman’s head, and [SPOILER ALERT] a nice explosive suicide ending to warm the cockles of your bloody beating little hearts! BOOOM!
