Just to mix things up a little, here's a handful of superstitious silliness from the annals of "true" human history, aka: Phantom Stranger #3, 4, and 5 to be exact, with everything illustrated by marvelous mad man, Mort Drucker. I've always liked these single / half page filler bits in old horror comics, even if they're nothing but a complete load of tommyrot...

I like that sleeveless tea-length A-line number Juliette is cuttin' the rug in. Must be the Hollywood musical version. The Bard Wagon starring Cyd Charisse.
Oh no! Juliet is wearing green shoes! If she's only worn black or brown, Romeo and she would've lived happily ever after!
Someone tell her already!
"How to spot a witch" was re-titled from "How to get randomly molested and probably killed by scared superstitious idiots." Who doesn't weight more than a book?!?!?
I love the last panel on "How to Spot a Witch."
I have a feeling these are some of the tamer superstitions that can be found in the UK and around the world.
If you float, you are a witch and must be destroyed, if you sink and drown you are innocent, the accused back then were doomed either way.
