If you thought the ghosts of our last post were interesting, --get a load of this supernatural thing-a-ma-jig! Only Bill Everett could / would come up with something as weird 'n wild for a simple 4 page prison petrifier such as this! From the July 1952 issue of Amazing Detective Cases #13.

"It's about time that rat Nixon was made to pay for his crimes!"
This is the kind of story that would get the code people all up in arms. Killer gets to kill a cop and and a judge, and get away with it. Crime DOES pay!
Yeah, I love the weird alien ghost. It's so bizarre and different! I love the octopus arms, and not sure if he's supposed to be smoke or something else. It's very cool! I would hate to do away with the splash, but I might have picked a different one, just to leave the ghost reveal to that single panel.
The electrocution panels are aces. That's incredibly fine work.
Thank you for posting. I loved the fifth panel page three. Out of the way! Cops comin' through! In the next panel, does anybody have a guess as to what is under glass dome?
