Bet you didn't know that 10 years prior to becoming the huge TV star of The Tonight Show, John, aka Johnny Carson (and his then pencil thin mustache) got a break starring in precode horror comics! *buh-dump!* Typically goofy Iger Shop fun with a cutely illustrated female character-- GCD has this incorrectly listed as "Eyes of Horror" --from the May 1952 issue of Strange Mysteries #5.

Oh, how I love Iger shop! It has a feel that is absolutely unique! I adored both Doomed and Eyes of Evil!
Yaaa! Gaaaa! Iger shop rules! Thanks so much! More Iger, please! GAAAA!
Dames: Always bringing evil into the house!
"He spoils you!" No kidding! "Buy this, it's ugly" Sure! Hey, here's two random rubies! No wonder he takes sleeping pills, he want a good 8 hours where he's not buying her stuff :)
That's one goofy monster and, as with a lot of these, has really inconsistent size.
Last page, panel 3 looks like somebody corrected or updated the art, or maybe removed something thought too grisly. That, or Hulk-talk Krisha was nice enough to cover the body!
The art was very well paneled this time, doing a lot better than usual with those awkward circles these guys seemed to insist on.
I love it when comics / movies / etc. just make up their own orientalisms. That statue was awesome.
On page 3 John must take off his mustache when he goes to sleep.
>must take off his mustache when he goes to sleep
Doesn't everybody?
Who wants more from this issue?
Yes!! Gaaaa! Love that Iger Shop! Aieeee!
Corrected the story's title at the GCD per your note.
Thanks!
