Karl Malden stars in this sizzling supernatural thriller of vengeance from beyond the ladle, from the February 1953 issue of Strange Stories from Another World #5.Flame on!
The panels are a bit busy in this one, but I like it. Predictable, but with the suspense intact.
Page 5/Panel 3, somebody was aping Ghastly a bit.
Strange Stories from Another World was a ... strange ... comic. You can have clunkers like the last story, and then well written stories like this one.

Karl Malden?!
one year later he starred in Phantom of the Rue Morgue.
If I'm ever filthy rich I'm going to have my butler wear a bright green tailcoat, too. Why not?
Man the cover on this mag is good.
I'll have a large scan of the cover to accompanying the next story post-- stay tuned!

"Fate wrote in scalding letters of fire"....overwritten much?
I agree: busy, predictable, suspenseful, swipe-filled, strange, clunky, well written and over written... hell, SSfromAW had it all!
