It was about the first 20 issues of Creepy and Eerie that sealed me into horror comics.
I can't quite put my finger on how gory seventies stories lack the charm and quaintness of gory fifties stories. There's just something acrid about them.

the xmas comics this week are almost as killer as the Halloween ones from 'halloween week'. I love the 70s too.
