Waitin' for Satan
Not to be confused with Bill Everett's hilarious "Satan is Waitin'" that I posted back in July 2008, todays story was originally presented in the May 1953 issue of Marvel Tales #114 (art by George Tuska), and asks the question, "Is it possible to double-cross the King of Double-Crossers?" Only a Rose!
Ahhh, computer and scanner issues resolved for the time being, we at THOIA appreciate your patience! And now, here's a neat little number from John Forte (and most likely Matt Fox), originally presented in the August 1953 issue of Spellbound #16... and what a mean-spirited tale it is at that, not only from the thorny female lead, but also from the hilarious narrative --you've gotta love that final panel epilogue, haha!

Slaves of the Undead Brain
Okay, we've had an undying brain, a buried brain, and today we unleash the "Slaves of the Undead Brain", from the January 1955 issue of The Beyond #30, ...and incidently, this story comes from the very last issue of this super great Ace Magazines series (it was only a matter of time after The Beyond #27 was left burned and smoldering in the "Seduction of the Innocent" witchhunt.)
