The art on "The Witches Coven" is INSANE!!!! And a turtle demon (third panel, last page)? How can you beat that?

I thought you'd left out part of the first story; (until I thought about it! *Why* do we need to see what happens when we already know?)

As for the other one; *why would the witches curse the farmers when they already know "the jig is up"? (Interesting saying! I have to remember to find out where it came from!) Wouldn't it make more sense to lay low until the farmers' panic dies down? Heck; maybe they'll decide that their misfortunes have a natural cause*?

Satan's cat didn't play as big a role as I expected. The ending was predictable but it was a fun tale nonetheless. "Witches Coven" had a better ending than I figured it would. After that head-smashing murder that guy would've been marked for death in any other comic. But to live in darkness as a blind man was a nice twist.

WITCHES COVEN is probably my favorite Woromay story. Craziness! (That's why I stuck the splash into the book in my intro!)

I'd rather see them tackled "I Chopped off Her Head!"

>The art on "The Witches Coven" is INSANE!!!!

Yep, that's Woromay for ya... check the THOIA archives and see how awesome that guy was back in the 50's too.

>Why do we need to see what happens when we already know?

Indeed, your imagination can probably work up a better climax to this story anyway, Db.

>SATAN'S CAT LITTER!"

AIEEEEEEEEE!!

>The ending was predictable but it was a fun tale nonetheless.

Sometimes the most predictable of endings can be as satisfying as the ones that make us do a double take / spittake... it's all about the set-up.

>(That's why I stuck the splash into the book in my intro!)

And that's why I posted it today, I remembered I had this story after flipping through your book again over the weekend!

>these are real nice-haven't seen this stuff before

Got another Eerie Pub Double Header coming up next, hopefully Mykal doesn't think I'm stepping on his Bloody Pulp toes!

>You gotta love Woromay!!

You know I do Mykal, you know I do!

The pictures of the cats are exceptionally well drawn. But I do love the turtle demon to.

Pretty insightful post. Never thought that it was this simple after all. I had spent a good deal of my time looking for someone to explain this subject clearly and you’re the only one that ever did that.
