Dark Mysteries had artwork that was lovably hasty (I love it for that very reason); but they had absolutely world class titles! "Witches Feast at Dawn" is absolutely horridful(I borrow a page from the good professor).
If you've followed THOIA from the beginning then you know how I feel about A.C. Hollingsworth's art work. Still, alot can be said for a story even as crummy as "Witches Feast at Dawn"... I mean, why do we love bad b-movies?
I think you'll all enjoy the next post, it couldn't be any further on all levels from these last two posts.

Oh, I need these breaks from the grad school grind!
A rattlesnake in a tree? Oy vay! Even the skull in the panel was laughing at that.
Old Ned died awfully quickly, nu?
And all of page five was all an absolute scream.
I agree. Dark Mysteries is GREAT!
MAN THIS ONE IS FULL OF MOMENTS! I AM SURPRISED NOBODY MENTIONED THE JANE RUSSELL SWIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE 4.
THE WITCH AD IS PRETTY COOL TOO!
The artwork, lettering, and story line were amateurish, like a fanmag homage to Ghastly Graham Ingels that didn't quite cut it.
