Disc Jockey

Here’s a sci-fi tale from Harvey Comics featuring an oddly funny script and art by Bob Powell. This post comes courtesy of MONSTER BLOG’s very own John Kaminski. If you’ve never visited his site then you should check it out ASAP. And thanks for the scans John!

From the October 1953 issue of Black Cat Mystery #46

Haha! Oh, that's pricless!
I love the wish-fulfilment aspect; Now why can't that happen to Chris Moyles.

Great ending. There is intelligent life in the universe...

This should happen to most morning talk radio shows, preferrably those ultra annoying 2-man morning zoo teams.

They're not all bad but...

Let's see the new guy try to land the Dribbleheimer's account--those guys are tough customers.

Despite their grotesque(though obscured)forms,i kind of like to think that these aliens are still around,battling evil in all media,removing FAMILY GUY from the air,stopping the remake of I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE(Starring Paris Hilton and directed by Wes Craven),and battling the evil forces of fundamentalist christians on the net....its fun to dream.

Paris plays a zombie right?

Did anyone else notice the resemblance that the DJ in the story had to real life, UFO obsessed, radio personality Art Bell? That made the story creepy enough for me!

Hilarious! We need those aliens in the real world. XD

It makes me wonder though : if those two old couples didn't like him so much, why did they listen to him? Then again, they probably didn't have a TV and there was definitely no Internet, ha ha. (Surely they had books though?) If they didn't like books, they should have read awesome horror comics. =p

@thekamisama

Maybe it was intentional. ;)
