Rex Lane, “Solver of the Supernatural” is one of four individual stories featured in issues #21, 22, and 23 of Atlas Comics’ Young Men series. Other stories in this run of the series revolve around a war hero, a race car driver, and a boxer. But to me, Rex Lane’s tales of ghostly hauntings are the best of the lot, as he attempts to disprove the supernatural, but instead always manages to discover that the sinister forces of darkness do indeed exist. With excellent art from George Tuska, today’s entry features a phony séance that turns out to be anything but. Now if only Lane’s catty girlfriend Belle wasn’t so annoying!

FUN LITTLE STORY, TUSKA IS GREAT! ALWAYS THOUGHT HIS FACES LOOK LIKE CANIFF.
Nice lttle story, first "series" post in a while(unless you count hosted stories or hero-origins).i agree about Belle, when Henry Pym smacked his wife in AVENGERS everyone(including me)was mad,if this guy was in the Avengers and smacked Belle, everyone would applaud!.and not to lose sight of this being a horror blog, but who are your least-favorite supporting characters?
I say smack Belle anyway.

Ha ha... Horrors of it All turns into a Broad Beater Blog, news at 11:00
I also wanted to add that if anyone has Young Men #21 or 22 and would like to submit the Rex Lane stories from those issues please contact me. Thanks!
Gotta love that ghost in the last panel, smirking as he gets his kicks spying on Rex and Belle.
FYI: Come back the first week of February for more Rex Lane! Thanks to Pmack for the submission!
Great story but... Unless I missed something it's a huge coincidence that the guy's wife visits the very woman who killed him for a seance. Maybe his ghost influenced her?
