Well anyone who knew Maila knows she had a wonderful sense of humor, and The Vampira Show was just as hilarious as it was sexy and spooky, maybe even more so. Despite her influence on the goth culture, I seriously doubt she'd want everyone being all gloomy this weekend and moping around like a buncha Roderick Usher wannabees.
I agree,even if it lacks Palais's crazy layouts,Elias is always good for a classy art job(also agree about Vampira,i think it's better to pop in PLAN 9 and the Misfit's song than mope.)as for the story and its leading man;well,i know its a fairly popular film with you guys,but wouldn't this plot've been a 1000 times better for THE MAD MAGICIAN?.

The cheesiness of that intro was a perfect lead-in. The best horror is often topped with a liberal helping of cheese.
It could only be darker if he killed himself.
