Invitation to Your Wake

Chuggin’ right along in the midst of our week-long tribute to ACE Comics, here’s your own invitation to another great yarn from Hand of Fate, (and thankfully no ghost narrator in this one!) Featuring lots of creepy monsters, a cat with a woman’s head, and [SPOILER ALERT] a nice explosive suicide ending to warm the cockles of your bloody beating little hearts! BOOOM!
From the December 1953 issue of Hand of Fate #21

I'm not sure who illustrated this one, as you can see there's no info on this title at GCD... and Overstreet only mentions the issues feature the Necronomicon and drug use.

I'll be sad when this ACE tribute is over, these have been some of the best stories you've posted so far.

I'll definitely try to keep ACE more in the mix in posts to come. Mostly it's a time issue for me, Ace stories are long, and if I have the choice to scan a couple 3 or 4 page Atlas stories over one 7 or 8 page ACE story, well you know what I mean... my scanner is old and very slow.

Excellent!,very nice artwork,Ellen looks like a girl Graham Ingels would draw, but sexier(head-wise at least.),and in some panels Belial looks like Vincent Price!my only real gripe is the bad positioning of some of the word balloons,i thought one of the zombies was speaking Walt's dialogue!,but since some companies farmed out pages with balloons and panels in place its not surprising.

Yeah, obviously Uncle Al wasn't the only guy who did this.

Save the world by crashing your airplane into the evil doer's headquarters...
Hmmm...
I wonder how a terrorist on L.S.D. would read this story?
