The Last Dance

Here’s one for all the ladies planning to go out dancing tonight without their dead fiancé (bloody tomahawk in the forehead optional.) You have been warned!

NOT SURE IF IVE EVER HEARD OF THIS LEGEND BUT I HAVE NOTICED THERE SEEMS TO BE ALOT OF PRECODE STORIES WITH PEOPLE BEING DANCED TO DEATH.

As I'm sure many of you know, in the Brothers Grimm version of Snow White, the queen is forced to don red hot iron shoes and dance herself to death. I don't know if they added this part or if it was part of the folk story they collected, but it was typical of their stories (i.e. in Cinderella, the sisters cut off parts of their feet to get the slipper to fit and when he finds out he has birds peck their eyes out).

It's in the original story,according to an old issue of NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC,i also read it in THE GRIMMEST GRIMMS book,man those Germans could be cruel!,oh well im not one to judge,but i'd love to see a Grimm's anthology movie.as for THIS legend,i think i saw it in one of those SHORT & SHIVERY books.

wow, a one-page story! nowadays writers cant tell a complete story in six whole issues...
