Dollie

Taken from the “Worst Gifts of All Time File,” comes another gory little story about a truly killer xmas present.

From the July 1977 issue of Creepy #90

It was about the first 20 issues of Creepy and Eerie that sealed me into horror comics.

I can't quite put my finger on how gory seventies stories lack the charm and quaintness of gory fifties stories. There's just something acrid about them.

It's the grimy underbelly of 70's sensibilites... wonderfully permeates drive-in cinema (and later punk rock music) with a deliciously foul, offensive taste.

the xmas comics this week are almost as killer as the Halloween ones from 'halloween week'. I love the 70s too.
