How convenient that they repeated what they already knew, within earshot!
THE BLACK DEATH: HE REALLY IS AN ASSHOLE WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT.
A BUMMER OF AN ENDING, BUT IN A GOOD WAY. THIS IS THE SAME THING I SAID YESTERDAY ABOUT THE BURIED ALIVE PLAN, ONLY IN REVERSE AND TO AN INNOCENT PERSON. HOPE THAT'S NOT A SPOILER!
REAL GOOD ISSUE THOUGH, THANKS!
Unlike most stories these two really didn't do anything to deserve their fate. Michel even expressed remorse for the girl's body that he dumped into the well. Nobody is safe in pre code horror.
Since I don't have TCM, I watched "Tales from the Darkside:the Movie" last night. Pretty cheesy, but always appreciate the attempt in the early '80s to revitalize the anthology horror movie.
if it was so easy for Michael to sneak aboard the ship, couldn't he have put some men's clothing on Denise and snuck her on too?...
Another cool one with good artistic detail (guards having halberds instead of generic swords, the great looking ship/cathedral panel on the last page, etc.)
pretty cool story and totally surprised me too that they didnt get away and both died
>"Tales from the Darkside:the Movie"
Yeah, not the best film but it has it's moments. That kind of sums up alot of pre-code comics actually.
Everyone ready for Poe Overload this week? Yep... Poe Overload this week so get ready!
Oh hay-ull no! There is no way you would get my claustrophobic ass into that coffin, especially if the lid was going to be screwed on.
