Story #2 in our look at the March 1954 issue of Adventures into the Unknown #53. Soooo, who’s going to be the first one to crack the most obvious joke possible about the title of today’s story?
Not as great as the "Wolpire" story but this is another gem ; love the characters , they're the German sterotypes like the ones that usually were used in stories that took place in WWII for nazi officers ... Thanks for sharing !
It doesn´t make much sense, I mean, this homemade guillotine must be the cheapest toy ever, but maybe the castle needed a new heating system or whatever :-)
I really like Lazarus´art. Great stuff. And two tales to go! Good week.
AHHHHH! THIS WAS GREAT. BUT HE COLLECTS THE HEADS AND KEEPS THEM STORED IN A BIG PILE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SHAFT? THAT'S CREEPY. I WONDER WHAT HE DOES WITH THE DECAPITATED BODY????
>I WONDER WHAT HE DOES WITH THE DECAPITATED BODY????
Ahhh, that's another "tail", for another time... get it?
Yeah so two more TrueVision classics to go this week, we'll wrap up on Friday with a Gruesome Lou Cameron creeper... and keeping on the severed head tip, this weekend (Oct 11th-12th) it's an all SHRUNKEN HEAD WEEKEND. We'll likely get some more Head jokes from Max too (he can roll 'em atchu faster than a grease covered bowling ball.) Tah peeps!

The panel where we realize what's up? Awesome. I actually laughed out loud.

Well, leave it to me!
*I was disappointed that this wasn't taken from the short story,"The Sore Knees Man."
OR
*I was expecting a tale about Oscar Wilde.
OR
*Schwill gave head that was a cut above the rest!
Lol, nice story.

Ooh, I want one of those! Though they must be the devil to clean.
Did they throw head out enough in that story?? I think they lost the point of the subtle art of foreshadowing.

what, no glory hole jokes?...
There is no glory in hole jokes.
I never thought much about Hary Lazarus or the ACG titles, but these Truevision stories are really great and so different.
Thanks for posting!
Please direct all "glory hole" jokes to THE WHORES OF IT ALL blog.
Hey, anybody see the movie TEETH?
