Psst! Hey you, shhhh… yeah you, come here. You got a thing for ultra gory decapitated neck holes? Yeah? I knew you did. I could tell by just looking at you. And what’s that? Oh? You’re also into felines? I hear ya brotha… me too. So check this shit out...
From the December 1952 issue of Baffling Mysteries #12.

Purrrrr-fect selction, as always.
I like you lots now
I like you better
Walking your catgirls
In leashes and leather
I watch you curl up into a circle
Symbol of eternity, wicked pussycat
My fall is starting...
-- Danzig, "Wicked Pussycat"
I love the last panel with a skull with a perfect head of hair. And a message from the hair club for skulls . . . "I'm not just a member, I'm the president"
This would have made a good episode of "Tales From the Crypt."
It reminds me of one of my favorite episodes of Amazing Stories," where Christopher Lloyd us running around holding up his decapitated head!
HOW ABOUT THAT TIGER HEAD HAT? AND BY THE WAY, HOW DOES ANYTHING WITHOUT A HEAD EVER FIND IT'S VICTIM ANYWAY? THIS ONE WAS SO SILLY AND WEIRD I LOVED IT.
GORY DECAPITATED NECK HOLES......BRRR!!!
Guess he should have listened to Blake.
Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
Look at all the trouble he got into for daring to "frame" a tiger.
After Karswell's intro I was all jazzed to see a headless tiger-stump, and was despairing of seeing one until that AWESOME climax (ooer). And how about the panel with the tiger running off with a BABY in its mouth? HO-LEE SHIT!
Other bits that grabbed me:
* "Deerson" == "Son of Deer"--off to shoot tigers. NICELY DONE, writer! Also, "Prof. Graves."
* But come on now: Princess TIGRINA? Why didn't you just go all the way and call her "Her Royal Highness, Queen IVANA EATCHOO"?
* "I was married very young! My husband was killed in an accident!" STOP SHOUTING AT ME, PRINCESS!
*"I'm all alone, and weird things are happening! I must narrate them to myself, out loud!"
And I would think that having a weapon-room in your house would be a big selling point. I know it'd make me look twice.
Great stuff as usual, Karswell! But where's my baby-doll tee? ;)
>how about the panel with the tiger running off with a BABY in its mouth?
"Welcome to the jungle, baby... you gonna diiiiiiie..."
Had to stop in for a later visit today, good way to finish off a long day at work though! Another good story today, the artist obviously had too much fun drawing the decapitated characters!
"They all lose their heads over you Starchild" - Ace Frehley to Paul Stanley in KISS Meets the Phantom
Pretty sure that's Yul Brynner in an uncredited cameo on page one. (Everyone else is still lyricking; I'm stuck back on the casting, I guess.)
"[Miller] watched in horror as he heard his cry of anguish!"
Now that's some good prose right there. I certainly hope that if I'm ever attacked on all sides by giant marauding tigers I'll have the temerity to respond with an irritated "ughh!"
