Spook Show Revival (VIDEO)

More spookshow trailer fun from beyond the grave, and from a time in history when theatre owners actually cared about their audience and gave you something different--- real LIVE thrills and chills instead of just the same old boring Hollywood cookie-cutter crap we’re force fed these days. Who wants to see decapitated heads in Hostel 3 when you can have an actual decaptitated head thrown right into your lap instead?

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!...ER,GHOULS. anyway,i agree,HOSTEL was sort of a gimmick thing when they said people fainted and when they released THE OMEN remake in accordance with my nephews birth(kitchy-koo!),but really it'll never compare to the GRAND GUIGNOL or William Castle(even if MR.Sardonicus never delivered on the alternate ending)when they were around, the time when horror relied on suspense(Lewton, hitchcock,Torneur)and black humor(Whale,Corman)rather than gross-out shock value, hell they dont even do GOOD gore-shock like EVIL DEAD anymore, like i said, horror needs its fan base to start making movies, and I say we raise hell!

I agree totally. And it does really all boil down to that one simple fact, people making horror films should first and foremost have the proper requirements / influence. If you start out your film career making rap videos and then you're big screen debut as a director is to make a horror film chances are it's gonna suck.

GREAT VISUALS, I BET PEOPLE REALLY GOT HOPPED UP FOR THIS KIND OF THING BACK THEN, NOWADAYS THOUGH I WONDER IF ANYONE WOULD EVEN CARE? MODERN KIDS ARE SO JADED AND DESENSITIZED TO EVERYTHING.

LOVE THE MUSIC IN THIS TOO!

The music used in this is lifted right from DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL (1951) composed by Bernard Hermann. Bernie did alot of great scores for excellent film classics like Seventh Voyage Of Sinbad, Jason And The Argonauts, Mysterious Island, Citizen Kane, Taxi Driver, and of course many Hitchcock classics like Psycho, North by Northwest etc...
