The Stalking Doom

I still owe you one last story from Amazing Ghost Stories #16, unfortunately my scanner has crapped out, so I'll have to get it to you when this issue is resolved... in the meantime, (if you missed it the first time) here's a Weird Thrillers #5 original that I donated to Killer Kittens way back in Sept '09, from the December 1954 issue of Amazing Ghost Stories #15.

This is a heavily modified version of the Bram Stoker story "The Squaw", though here the cat is taking revenge for its owner rather than its kitten.

"Creepy" or "Eerie" did a version of this same Tale (With some changes) and was drawn By Reed Crandall....

It seems the film Shadow of the Cat '61 is sort of on the same nip as well.

This tale (tail?) Of the cat seeking revenge was one of the stories in the anthology film The Uncanny (1977)

I wrote this story and I will sue now for posting it without asking me.

LOVE the iron maiden with the cat on top at the end of this story.

As that mythical somebody who actually has had his concepts stolen by Corporate Hollywood and sued and won (those "execs" paid for my million dollar condo and ALL were canned afterwards by the coporation), I for one am enjoying these comments. dweeble dwindle dwight is a prize fool -- bully, bully fool-boy!

With 1950's horror comics, you have to sort have expect it. Sure Ray Bradbury sent a letter to EC after getting ripped off -- but that led to gold, as everybody in the know, knows. If this is a rip-off, it's a good one, and those who were ripped off had better things to do than read horror comics off the stands in the 1950's so they never sued like they should have.

There are a couple jokers attempting to leave comments on my posts lately, unfortunately for them they have to be approved by me first. I'll go ahead and allow one through occasionally just so everyone can laugh at it.

More pre code coming right up! Thanks for the (good) comments!
