HA HA YOU GOT THIS CAST PERFECT! I DIDN'T KNOW WHO GENE ROTH WAS BUT I LOOKED HIM UP. THAT GUY WAS IN EVERYTHING. ONE OF THOSE ACTORS YOU KNOW THE FACE BUT NOT THE NAME

VERY COOL POST, SORT OF CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON BUT WITH A TWIST. THE LEGGY SHORT SHORT SHOTS OF DIANE ARE A NICE TOUCH AS WELL AS THE LACK OF BUTTONS ON HER BLOUSE IN THE SPLASH!!!

Yeah that cast was spot on.thanks so much for posting this!i saw the cover years ago and've always wanted to read it(still too bad you don't get to see her in serpent form),was gonna request it in fact.Sir Launcelot would've been cool as Malibo, especially if he got to sing a song about the legend.

Classic film fans know Gene Roth because it seems like he played either a detective or a sheriff in practically every film made in the 40s, and later in the 50's in Earth vs the Spider, Attack of the Giant Leeches etc... I'm surprised looking at his IMDb filmography that he has so many "uncredited" roles in not only film but TV as well. He must have been incredibly busy. Even more surprising is to learn that he was struck and killed by a car in Los Angeles in 1976.

>too bad you don't get to see her in serpent form

Totally.

The saddest thing of all about character actor Gene Roth is that in the 250+ films and TV shows in his career I don't believe he ever played a lead even once.

Gene was in a handful of 3 Stooges shorts as well.

Dig the "bottle" the creature is holding while checking out the babe in the splash panel ...maybe it's just me and my dirty mind.

ATTACK OF THE SLEESTAK!

Oh man, great story, but what an anticlimactic ending! WE WANT SEXY SLEESTAK QUEEN!

That large panel at the bottom of page 3 is amazing, though. Eeybita eeybita.

For sure, but anytime you have Mamie Van D vs Susan Cabot in a story (even when it's totally not real) the blonde will always triumph over all other hair colors. God made up that shitty rule, not me.
