The Weird Worlds of Pete Wyma

Here's a couple outrageous Pete Wyma one-pagers from Monster Howls #1 for ya’lls today. Anyone have any decent info on Pete? His stuff is so good, and so completely unlike anyone else.

If you enjoy this type of thing let me know and I'll post more. I know it's not pre-code but it's all still way too fun to ignore!

Monster Howls (PART TWO)

Our Part Two look at the Monster Howls '66 one-shot issue (Humor-Vision / Major Magazines) features even more fun art and monster madness, aka "Laughs in a Horror Vein" from additional top of the line greats like Joe Maneely, Bill Everett, etc... other goofy gags from this issue by Don Orehek and Pete Wyma, can be found in the THOIA 2008 Archives by clicking HERE!

The Eerie World of Don Orehek

Don Orehek is one of my all-time favorite cartoonists... anyone know anything about him? There ain't much info online, and any little tid-bit not already provided in the link would be much appreciated. These classic horror gags come from Monster Howls #1.

I'll have some great Pete Wyma gags for you tomorrow as well, (also from Monster Howls #1.) He's another fave o'mine.
