"The hands of a true artist are versatile, Ricco. Ha-ha-ha!"
Well, this is one of the best lines I ever read.
The circular panel on page 3 is just super clever. Bravo, Heck! This one deserved to be saved from a bit of indiscriminate inking.
This is the one repeated ghost story I never get -- how a haunting that only you can see but doesn't actually physically touch you -- can drive you crazy. If I was haunted by a ghost, eventually I'd get used to it and I'd certainly realize, quickly, that only I can see and hear it. So, I'd just pretend like it isn't there! Sure, it would be annoying at first, but you can only poke the same location too many times before you stop feeling it!
This story is a sort of very loose "HANDS OF ORLAC" variation, which shows that the musician's hands themselves don't always have to be a part of the plot.
