I like how it has a happy ending and is still horrifying. I wonder what drugs went into that one.

THIS WAS THE WEIRDEST STORY IVE EVER READ! BUT HOW COME WHEN HE PULLS HER OUT AT THE END SHE ISNT HALF DIGESTED? STILL AMAZING! AND I'M TOTALLY ABLE TO RECOGNIZE BOB POWELL ART NOW THANKS TO THIS BLOG TOO!

Even though there's a similar plot in THE VAMPIRE BAT(1933),i gotta agree with Todd, only drugs or a nightmare could have inspired this gleefully weird insanity.

A friend of mine called this The Wall of Bubblegum!

>a similar plot in THE VAMPIRE BAT

I'm not sure I get the reference HP, please explain.

This one looks pretty gross. Just the thought of a wall made of flesh is disturbing enough. Definitely gonna have to check it out.

>a wall made of flesh is disturbing

Especially if it was all male flesh. Uh, I mean I guess it really depends on what part of the female body the flesh came from......er....... I think I'll stop while I'm still making no sense.

Hate to spoil the twist in VAMPIRE BAT,but it involves a blob-ish creature being fed human blood to survive,it's not the same as this story, just kinda similar.

Powell's work is always appreciated! Thank you!

Boy, this one'll stay with you a while. Really unusual and disturbing. The pictures of an anguished Sheila being slowly absorbed superimposed over a clock ... yeah, again, that'll stay with me a while.

Yes, the clock is a nice touch to this disturbing story. Love it!

And to think all the Comics Code robbed us of over the years. :)

That slide of her changing in the locker room is totally necessary for the plot
