For the reader who ordered one spurting impaling panel with their haunted house main course today, heavy on the atmosphere but with an extra side of tutti fruitti color scheme. Aaaaiiiiiii!
SEEMS LIKE THE FAWCETT STORIES ALWAYS HAVE THESE MULTI COLORED PANELS LIKE THIS, PINKS AND LIME GREENS. I DON'T REALLY GET IT BUT THE STORIES ARE STILL FUN.
Yeah, I don't know why Fawcett's art director at the time felt the need for these neon color combos but it doesn't really detract much from the stories. For some of them the odd color choices actually make everything more surreal, like in a Bava or Argento film.
I hear that alot. But rest assured they'll always be here online forever. Just like two twin girl ghosts haunting an old hotel up in the snowbound mountains... forever... and ever... and...
Never tried this before, but just wanted to say thanks to karswell for an amazing site. I especially enjoyed the recent Jerry Gradinetti story and observations about his connections to Eisner. The Fawcett colors are interesting: it reminds me in some ways of Frazetta's stunning use of pastel colors on several Warren comics covers.

Somehow, the gate to my Lego castle never seemed so sinister.
It will now.

"I AM VERY ANNOYED AT YOU!"
Best. Death. Quote. EVAR.
And nice set-up for the portcullis death, writer. I never saw THAT one coming! :)
Still, this was fun, if only for the annoyed Death.
