Like yesterday’s post, today we have yet another heroic, loving couple thrust into the blackest depths of the supernatural. And all complete with a happy or not so happy ending, depending upon how you side with ACG’s dementedly gifted writers. Ed Wood probably loved this one…

ahhhhh yes, plan 9 we hardly knew ya! escellent story and excellent art..... like someone said about your post yesterday this one is touching too behind the terrifying eyes of those zombies
Yes, this is a strangely compelling story, Plan 9 or not, it's got an odd emotion range that pre-code horror stories rarely display. Or as my friend Criswell once said:
"We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future..."
PLUS A DOUBLE SUICIDE!!! I SEE THE PLAN 9 COMPARISON WITH THE ALIENS INVADING THE BODIES OF CORPSES BUT THIS IS MUCH BETTER DEVELOPED, FUNNY HOW 7 PAGES OF COMIC BOOK PANELS CONTAINS MORE DEPTH AND STORY THAN ED WOOD'S ENTIRE STUPID STUPID FILM.
Very odd lettering, with someone going wildly overboard on the emphasis.
I dunno, the art on this one was ok,but the colorist could have given this a more desert-like feel,i do agree about the Plan 9 connection,i read the opening in Criswell's voice, and laughed at the plot holes(his scheme was really stupid,if brain waves remain active, why didn't the others?),but one thing, don't you think if Ed Wood was alive, and had a script editor a decent budget and no obligations to friends,he might have produced somenthing worth seeing?i have a feeling it wouldn't be the CGI-laden crap which they produce today.as you may have guessed,i have very little faith in modern Hollywood to see Ed Wood as a potential savior.
Ed Wood's films are definitely worth seeing, there's a big difference in bad directors making unwatchable films, Wood was a bad director but made watchable films that actually get better on repeat viewings, and I'm not talking about only in a dumb ass MST3 way either. There's thousands of hacks making films today (see the straight to video shelves at any Blockbuster Video for proof), I mean trully awful stuff that make Wood's output look like Orson Welles. But I also love stuff like Killdozer and Halloween 3, films people claim are junk, so what do I know...
I love Halloween 3 too. Right now I'm singing the Silver Shamrock countdown song to Oct 31st!
yay, killdozer!
