Vincent Price, one of the greatest actors of all time, died on this day in 1993 of lung cancer and emphysema at the age of 82.
"I sometimes feel that I'm impersonating the dark unconscious of the whole human race. I know this sounds sick, but I love it."

Yes, that was a sad day!
CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT I WEAS DOING BUT I REMEMBER I HATED HEARING ABOUT HIS PASSING AROUND THE TIME IT HAPPENED. WHERE WERE YOU WHEN VINCENT PRICE DIED?
I'm not sure where I was either, but I bet after I found out I held a few moments of silence--- and then immediately inserted Tales of Terror or The Fly into the VCR.
He had to be one of the most beloved Hollywood celebrities. People tease me about this, but I always get real sad when he dies in Edward Scissorhands. What a cool grandpa he would have been. Think I'll watch some Price tonight.
I'll watch Pit and the Pendulum tomorrow night on TCM in honor.
R.I.P VINCENT!!!
