Don’t leave just yet, I told you this was a romance DOUBLE FEATURE and the flames of passion burn uncontrollably down in the embalming chamber of the local funeral parlor. Let’s take a little peek inside and see how things are going with the undertaker and his latest obsession.
From the April 1954 issue of The Unseen #14, there’s--- No Rest For The Dead (as usual.)

the narration is funny on this one and those 3 faces starring out of the coffinsare really evil!!! why is funeral parler horror the creepyest shit of them all
Because funeral parlors ARE creepy. Where else can a bunch of dead people hang around and nobody thinks it's odd? I mean, besides the morgue or cemetery of course!
I've pulled a small stack of undertaker related stories for future posts. Probably get to those next month as I have a bunch of other fright filled insanity lined up already.
awesome....... this is the greatest blog!!!!
thanks!
Is it just me, or does dear ol' Lethan bear a striking resemblence to Leo G. Carroll of 'Tarantula' (1955) fame?
If he isn't Leo G then he's surely Arte Johnson!
your intro to the story was better than the story itself.
Awesome blog I cant say that enough, is this Alex Toth artwork?
That's a relatively creepy torture! I like this artist, relatively unknown to me but has a vibe of a couple other artists -- as the comment above -- certainly a good bit of Toth in there!
These short punchy ones are fun, and probably a bit harder to developer than the longer ones.
