Specters Stalk the Bloody Tower

Another tale of vengeful specters, with a welcoming touch of history spanning detail that only a few of the better pre-code horror publishers like Ace even bothered with back in the day. From the February 1953 issue of The Hand of Fate #16.

that was pretty neat-o but Anne Boleyn should've left her head off, would've been creepier,,,

You picked one of ACEs best one-page-fillers there.
The devil puppet is really nice - and contains mucho action.
Do you have any idea who the artist of "Specters" is.
There's a rumor it might be Art Gates. Can anyone confirm that?

The Germans certainly were conveniently helpful to those supposedly patriotic ghosts. Almost smacks of cahoots.

Might spend a few more posts looking at Hand of Fate stories... in fact, the next few might just be by Lou Cameron too!

Thanks for the comments!
