The theme today is "ghosts" with a few more choice selections from the September 1952 issue of The Unseen #6. Actually, the theme for the next few posts will be "ghosts" as well-- who you gonna call?
But a lamp or ash tray isn't nearly so much fun as smashing a person into the mirror! I love vengeful thing from beyond the grave stories. Always a favorite!
About the story "Dr. Death": I was all ready to expect the kind of story that would make someone think: "Didn't they check the backgrounds of Germans who immigrated to the US right after WWII; (unless they had names like "Von Braun" of course!)"; expecting the title character to be some kind, of, I don't know, "Mengele-type" or Nazi version of the stereotypical "mad scientist". Nice surprise that it wasn't! DBurch7670
