Dirt of Death!

Does a story with a title like this even deserve an introduction?! Amazing! From the Sept. '52 issue of Tomb of Terror #4.

Come back for our next post with another "____ of Death" tale!

MAN THIS WAS A CRAZY ONE! I LOVED THE HOOK TO THE SKULL SOCKET, THAT PROBABLY STILL HURTS EVEN TO A SKELETON!

Agreed with CAPS. This was really well rendered, from the mutant deformed (human? and bear? and Satan?) head bones littering the panels all the way to the main character's clever little Lars Stelpson belt buckle. I am surprised Lars mistook all those giant green tape worms at the end there for grass. Guess he just wasn't the expert he thought he was.

Love the cover too. That's what you get when you shred with a big rock.

I give this one 5 stars! I especially like page 2, second panel where Rodney Dangerfield and Ed Lauter made a guest appearance.

the art was out of control in this one- loved the colors, too! as usual, assholes get what they deserve...but only in the comics.

I see some Creepshow inspiration here.
I could definitely use that "How to tell funny Jokes" book about now. People are getting sick of my puns.
