good solid stuff!
Holy cow! "Destroy My Enemy" is beautiful! And that last panel on the last page is AMAZING! Try to find an artist today who would even attempt that angle. This is Bill Ely, right? Thanks, Kars. May things get less weird around Kastle Karswell... or more weird. Whichever you prefer.
ANOTHER KICK ASS STORY!! THE PIRATE IS REALLY COOL LOOKING, THE WHOLE LAST PAGE IS JUST AWESOME!
I love your tag line. You are so right. Being an adult sucks ass! I want to be a kid again, reading horror comics under the covers and shivering over Edgar Allan Poe's tales, and believing in magic. Sigh. This one was great. Pirates kick ass every time.
Glad to hear everyone liked this story, it's one of my faves too (shades of John Carpenter's THE FOG on the last page.) I have more Standard Comic tales from Out of the Shadows lined up, just to make you feel like a kid again! Keep those comments coming, thanks again!
"Destroy My Enemy" would seem to be inspired by Lovecraft's The Terrible Old Man, unless there's a whole "vengeful ghost pirates kept in bottles" genre of which I was unaware.
that is the koolest ghost pirate ever! if only Grimes had named Shaggy and Scooby-Doo as his two worst enemies, that would have been poetic justice!...
