If our last post didn't deliver enough chopped body parts for ya (well, real ones anyway), then today's cannibalistic cadaver corpse feast from the May 1953 issue of Weird Terror #5 should certainly whet your atrocious appetites! This one's pretty gruesome, I mean, "mortician's gone wild" should be a THOIA theme someday-- and also features a truly horrific hammer to the face panel that'll likely loosen more than just a few teeth, IYKWIM! And since two cadavers are always better than one, I've added a Skywald bonus from the October 1974 issue of Psycho #21 since its been a while for you text tale lovers. Plus, a funny Mel Millar gag! Forget from where though. And speaking of, a really nightmarish, sexy Skywald screamer is up next-- stay tombed!

I, the Coffin
Like our previous post, here's another story that already slumbers eternally in the THOIA Archive (since 2010 HERE!), but alas, it was also a black and white, Eerie Pub repo version from the 60's. So, time now to re-Earth this little gem as it originally appeared in the May - June 1954 issue of Fantastic Fears # #7, and pry it wide open in all of its full, gasping, casketty colors, (as well as giving some of you long time followers a chance to finally comment on it as well.)

Who's Dead?
One more ghastly ghost story for your haunted holiday pleasure, and one unpleasantly unearthed from the claustrophobic, coffiny confines of the October 1954 issue of Journey into Unknown Worlds #31. Paul Reinman definitely knew a thing or two about great lighting in a story, and how to put you, the reader, right into the rotten thick of things. So grab a shovel and get diggin' --ya dig? CREEEAK!

My Son, the Mortician
We visited a casket company in our previous post HERE, so how about today we stroll down to the 'ol mortuary, and head straight back into the embalming chamber where an even fussier issue has potential to end the family business-- or does it? From the May - June 1977 issue of The Unexpected #179.

The Case of the Missing Tombstones!
Well, Tombstone Tuesday just moved to Monday, all apologies folks! My pre-planned schedule has been thrown off since the big 'ol storm that blew through the midwest a few days ago and knocked out our power for a spell. But everything's slowly back to (ab)normal around here, and since nothing else could possibly go wrong (could it?), how about something a bit more fun yet still equally abnormal with a kooky spooky Inspector Klooz case from the Oct. - Nov. '46 issue of Young King Cole V2#2. Fans of silly slapsticky horror, as well as Terrytoon's Heckle & Jeckle will surely enjoy the distinct illustrative stylings of Connie Rasinski / JAC / Jason Comic Art.

The Haunted Undertaker!
How about another creepy DC classic? And it's been a while since we've featured anything by bloodcurdlin' Bill Draut, so let us now peel back the cover of the December 1978 issue of Ghosts #71 and see what sort of unnatural things are ominously supernaturaling! (That's a real word, right?)

Don't Turn Around!
Surprised this eerie Bill Everett heart-pounder hasn't found it's way into the THOIA Archive by now! It's a short but shivery one, and sure to FILL YOU with an AWFUL FEELING of, umm, dread. From the awesome April 1952 issue of Marvel Tales #106 --and a truly classic cover by rockin' Russ Heath too!)

It Happened in the Morgue
