From the Bottom of the Well

The month of February spells doom for some, and where else to get your doom on than right here at THOIA? True love be damned, kicking off a month of major heart-removal with this wicked tale of witchy weirdness, from the Feb-March 1954 issue of Out of the Night #13.

  2. I have to imagine that the artist had never seen a working well!

  3. I enjoyed this one a lot, too! I have to say, if anybody discovers evil and traps it, please PUT UP A SIGN!

Is it too much to ask? Warning: Evil Witch trapped in well, do NOT UNCOVER!

I wonder how the cover and interior were produced, obviously there was no communication based on the artist differences.

  4. Well, I guess we have to add witches to the list of colorless, odorless, and tasteless disease agents possibly found in well water. And I thought E. coli, cholera, typhoid fever, or botulism were bad enough.
