Invasion of the Windsuckers from Beyond the Stars

If this blog ever starts becoming too predictable, please please please remember that I posted this 4 page pants splitter about far-out fart lovers from beyond the stars. How many of you even knew there was a Nation Lampoon-esque magazine called Apple Pie published by Lopez in the mid 70's anyway? Yep, 8 whole issues! Learn something pew every day...

From the gag-inducing March 1975 "Flatulence" (debut) issue of Apple Pie Vol. 1 #1

  1. At least it can never be said that today's kids invented gross humor.

Thank goodness Troma films never made a movie about this, and their standards are Ed Wood type low!

  3. It appears this post had a powerful effect on posters, it took there breath away.

Somehow, I could imagine Japan turning out an amime story like Japanese Fart Scrolls this. True fact (though I wish it wasn't so) if you are brave enough, look up Japanese Fart Scrolls, there just are no words except it must be seen to be believed.

  6. JMR: Read the Canterbury Tales sometime. Fart jokes are an old and long-standing literary tradition.

  7. I have never even heard of this magazine. I'm not sure I've ever seen a photo comic made out of collage before, either. It's a very interesting look that comes off kinda hardcore for no other reason than it reminds me of DIY punk zines. So does the humor, now that I think about it.

Thanks for keeping us on our toes with unique content!
