All apologies: I will be taking a bit of a break here early in November, the healing process from my car accident last month is not going as expected... hope to be back in action soon though. Hope everyone understands, and if you don't there's plenty of other great comic book scan blogs old and new to hold you over until then. See: Pappys, Magic Carpet Burn, Ten Cent Dreams, Cole's Comics, Blog at the End of Time, Big Blog of Kid's Comics, Gold Key Comics, Comic Book Catacombs, Killer Kittens and more, they're all listed on my sidebar under "Other Comic Book Resources" as well as at the very bottom of the home page.
Take the time and heal right, man. Classically, that's what November's for: plenty of food and fluids, sacrifice an animal, get through winter in one piece. No need to knit back together incorrectly and come back... wrong....
Get well and take your time. Watch the Looney Toons for inspirational healing chuckles. We will wait for you to come back and as Mr. Cavin said, there is no need for you to come back...wrong.
Karswell, I too hope your recovery (in all its manifestations)speedily occurs. Any friend of Mykal's and the Apocalyte's has got to be a neat guy; and a friend of mine. I really like your blog. Great graphics and all the stuff I tend to be drawn to. best, r/e
Thanks again everyone, I am feeling much better, and basically just needed some time to catch up on a few other things before I kick THOIA back into gear.
As mentioned last month I'm planning another look at Crime Horror this month, and don't forget that Pierre over at Frankensteinia has the Karloff Blogathon starting on the 23rd which I am most definitely participating in! There's lots to look forward to in November, hang tight... back in a few! XOX
Look at all the posted comments! And you didn't even put a story up. Shows how much you and your blog are appreciated. Hope all that love has a salubrious effect.
Get well Karswell! I've been hitting up some of your suggestions too, all great sites. You and Pappy are the kings. Mostly though I'm having fun in the THOIA archives and catching up!
should i head for the hills?...
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is okay.

Car accident last month? I didn't know. Jeez, glad to know you're alright, but hope the healing process gets better.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, there's plenty out here to tide us over when you return. I'm especially enjoying Door Tree's Golden Age of Comic Stories
.

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better, Karswell. Just take your time to fully recover. Your health is definitely more important than THOIA.

ReplyDeleteGet well soon, but take the time it needs to heal, better one more day off, than never back =)
