You asked a terrible question-- and from the grave itself came the horrible answer! YES! THOIA CAN RETURN! And a day or so earlier than I had planned, but Hell, you guys know me, even injured I can't stay away for too long. And it's been awhile since I presented an issue in it's entirety, so I do believe it's time to rectify that with this particularly obnoxious collection of gruesome ugliness, aka the Nov '53 issue of Strange Mysteries #14. Seriously, you're going to wish I never came back...
"YIIIIII -IT-IT'S KARSWELL!
ReplyDeleteCOME OUT OF HIS GRAVE!"
Ha! I just posted a horror story on my blog dedicated to your recovery -- looks like it worked!!
Welcome back, Karswell!
Great story! More of 'em!
Hooray you are back, but still, if you need more time to recover take the time
ReplyDeleteThat Lynn is a swell guy. Always thinking to offer his friends an open grave.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this stuff. You have a great looking website. These comic books have much better storytelling than contemporary ones. I was about 5 months old when this book was on sale, so I am seeing it for the first time.
ReplyDeleteCome visit.
Yes, I am indeed back. And thanks again everyone for your patience and support, I must say I do feel cheap paying you back with some Iger Shop atrocities but I think you're going to enjoy this issue anyway (to call it "insane" is putting it mildly.)
ReplyDeleteHugs 'n Kisses to all!
IT IS GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK, AND GLAD TO KNOW YOU ARE FEELING BETTER!WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT YOU KARS????
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS A TOTALLY CRAZY STORY. THE BOTTOM LEFT PANEL ON PAGE 6, IS HE TRIPPED OR TRAPPED? AHAHAHA
does this issue have the story about the deformed professor who cages a starving couple to see if "love" with keep them from killing and eating each other? it's the same artist...
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, o magnificence!
ReplyDeleteThese Iger Shop tales are wunderbar! I still say there must have been a certain artist who did certain ones.
Karswell: Missed your stuff! -- Mykal
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your accident, but here's hoping that you bounce back with the best of 'em.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff, as always! Hope you mend quickly!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are back. I discovered THOIA recently (and was hospitalized myself shortly thereafter). I've been singing THOI's praises since!
ReplyDeleteStory #2 from this issue coming up next, thanks again for all the great comments!
