The Worm

Things are really going to get icky around here this weekend, especially if you’re one to loathe slimy things that squirm in your dirt… as well as your flesh.

KIDA IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES FROM ATLAS. I REALLY LOVE THE WORM TRANSFORMATION PANELS ON PAGE 3.......GREAT ENDING TOO.

One of mine too, I may do a Kida tribute coming up near the end of the month or next, I'll have to see how things work out. As I've mentioned before, I don't want this blog to get too Atlas heavy, (but I am planning an Astonishing tribute very soon anyway too.)

Monday we jump back into Farrell territory for a few days.

One of Atlas's best, that cover alone draws money at cons!what i like about the story is how tense it is,no one is likeable or sympathetic,it's a perfect crime story, since it's neither in black & white or shades of grey in it's depiction of anyone, and this tense, moody feel, with gawky,hook-nosed,angular characters is why i also like Kida's work.

  4. Kida's stories always have a good sense of color and pacing too. The effective / learned simplicity of his lay-outs further prove why I think Atlas had some of the best artists.

  5. So...did that cop get brought up on charges when the medical examiner determined the cause of death?

  6. The buried alive type stories always scared me the worst.
I felt kind of sorry for Casper, though. Talk about getting screwed over again and again.

That is definitely a phobia many of us could live (or not live)without.

What am I even talking about?
