First came the worms, then the maggots, then The Fly news. And today we’re still crawling over your skin, this time with a weird tale about an insideous parasite with a mind of it’s own. I warned you this weekend was gonna be icky...
From the February 1952 issue of Adventures into Terror #8
I hope that stupid guard got it eventually...
ReplyDeleteI like these trashy stories that EC would never consider publishing. I mean, SOMEone had to publish them, and this on is very direct.
ReplyDeleteCOOL IDEA FOR A STORY. I'M NOT CRAZY ABOUT THE PARASITE THOUGH, LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING FROM SPACE GHOST.
ReplyDelete>NOT CRAZY ABOUT THE PARASITE
ReplyDelete>Seriously shitty artwork here.
I think we can all agree that Bill Walton's parasite is poorly realized, he's usually much better than this... and putting skulls in the eyes is kind of cheap too.
That was a good chuckle. The parasite looked like an early sketch of the Green Goblin. I especially liked the skulls in its eyes.
ReplyDelete>like an early sketch of the Green Goblin
ReplyDeleteCripes, you're right! But if the Green Goblin's nose had been smooshed in.
