Coppola's first film after Corman finally decided to let him direct. It's not a perfect movie but it's definitely better than 95% of the crap hitting the silver screen these days.
I can't believe the trailer shows the end shot though!
Dementia 13 is great... it's deliberatly paced like a moody gothic thriller, it's got an ax murderer in it but it's not a slasher film which seems to confuse most doofuses looking for mounds of gore in place of good acting and well shot atmosphere.
I AGREE, THIS IS A VERY UNDERRATED AND EXCELLENT FILM. LUANA ANDERS IS GREAT AS THE CONNIVING MURDERESS AND COPPOLA DEFINITELY SHOWS HE'S GOT A WICKED EYE FOR THE CREEPY AND PERVERSE IN MANY SCENES.
watching the trailer only reminded me of how great this film is.....and the music too!

It's better than NOT REALLY BRAM STOKERS DRACULA was,even though i liked a lot of that movie.
