Truly great stuff - that first page is magnificent, you can't help but want to read this one. I can't figure out the artist, though - it's not George Tuska, is it?
Gee whiz, Stan Lee loved tales about writers, didn't he?
THE ATLAS LINK SAYS TUSKA IN BRACKETS, DOES THAT MEAN THEY DONT KNOW??? I WAS JUST LOOKING AT THE REX LANE STORIES BY TUSKA IN YOUR ARCHIVES AGAIN AND ALOT OF THE ART LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO ME TO THIS STORY........WHICH BY THE WAY WAS AWESOME!
Oh, yeah. That's Tuska all right, though he's using a bit broader style here on the "zombie/hag" and ghost than what we're used to seeing from him. Great, great stuff. Once again, even Stan Lee's ham handed dialog can't hurt this kick-ass art!
Yeah, there's alot of things here that are obviously Tuska, the freaky long ghost teeth for one, the use of silhouette, the incredible facial expressions... I've been waiting for a good time to post this story, and officially kicking off our month long Atlas Fest seemed the perfect time.
I knew I was going to love this story from the very first panel. What trippy art. I felt like I just had some hallucinogens and watched wide world of Disney! Sheesh- Way to mess with the mindless Kars.
Oh by the way.... just took my Grandson to see the sequel movie NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM in which there is a running gag about a glow-in-the dark flashlight. Did you know that when you posted this ad? Just curious.
A whole month of my beloved Atlas? Could it get any better!? The artwork here is absolutely amazing, though ghosts hardly ever look scary in comics. And why anyone would ever allow a ghost to talk them into closing themselves up in a coffin (and in a grave no less) is beyond me. Still, I'd like to read his story. Guess we'll have to wait for him to "ghost write" for someone.

Kinda predictable, but very fun to read. Madame Tania is kinda cartoony-looking, but that amkes her even more creepy than the hag from 'Drag me to Hell'.
The Ghost is also kinda goofy, man, Harry Wilks had some BAD teeth, was his dentist Al Luster?
As I contributor to Atlas Tales I'd like to point out that a name between brackets means it's definitively the artist mentioned, but the story is unsigned. Which is why the name(s) of the attributor(s) re often given, so you now who to blame. If the name is just a guess, a questionmark is used.
