Kill, My Minions of Death!
Welcome to November! Last month was the craziest 31 days for this blog yet, add in many fine contributions/story submissions, and of course being awarded a “Blog of Note” on Halloween made it all 100% pure cane horror overload. Now the question remains: Can we top October? All I have to say is if you think I’m gonna slow down for one second so you can catch your breath then you’ve obviously come to the wrong blog. So get up! Get up and kill, my minions of death!

ReplyDeleteThen you're on the wrong blog bub. I love some horror manga though too. The one you mention is called UZUMAKI by Junji Ito. He's awesome.

ReplyDeleteThen go away dude, it's your loss.....how annoying for someone to act all superior on an excellent blog like Karswells! If you don't feel like expanding your knowledge and learning something new (or 50's old) then there's plenty of other manga sites and blogs out there where you can freely strut your limited tastes. I like some manga too, god you didn't even know the name of the Junji Ito story you were bragging about either....ha ha ha ha
This is a cool comic.... dramatic, and colorful.

"Ludwig Cameron" ha ha,check the gravestone in the splash.I didn't care for the plot much,even though i usually love severed hand stories,but the art was some of the best i've ever seen.also,please lets not start a riot over comics vs.manga,i already feel enough guilt over the ATLAS riot last month,even though i did like the manga of RINGU,everyone handles horror differently,UNIVERSAL dealt with consequences of violating morals,HAMMER did Class Struggle.s'all good.

ReplyDeleteI second that... apples and oranges people. I actually have been reading alot of manga horror lately though, Dark Horse in particular has 3 really great series out now, The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, MAIL, and MPD-Psycho, all very well done and some superbly freaky deaky moments. And CMX just released volume one of PRESENTS by Kanako Inuki which I thought was a ton of fun, spooky and kooky.
