ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard, the tears flowed when I saw Jamieson's Bob Hope illustration.
ReplyDeleteWhat stood out, other than the wacky and ingenious humor of it, were the Iger Shop-esque eyes on his (or her) rendition of Bob Hope.
That is why I used to think Iger Shop was a single artist, because the style of the eyes are so distinct.
Anyway, a big mazel tov to Jamieson. By the way, my paternal grandmother's mother was a Jamieson. Perhaps there may be more to this. Who can say?

ReplyDeleteDaaang. Thanks everybody. I feel a little sheepish getting so many votes, since all of these entries are so very damn cool. I especially love the one by Ms. Strange. I thought the Bob of bacon and toast was surreal enough to be sublime.

ReplyDeleteMorning everyone! I apologize for not updating last night after the contest ended but blogger was acting like a bug again and not allowing me to do anything. And as we can all see from the results, Mr C has indeed won! Congrats my friend! Now I do know for a fact that you aleady have a THOIA shirt so unless you want another one I will make plans to send you something else. And just because I loved all the entries so much, everyone who entered will receive a special consulation prize, so everyone email me their addresses pronto!
