If you've ever opened up a single Silver Age comic book in your life then you already know who this is about... click HERE for a fascinating 3 minute film short on the life of Count Dante, a man who was apparently much much more than just a martial arts Master!
i used to have that Count Dante ad taped to my trapper keeper in middle school. mainly, because it was just a cool picture. never thought he was a real guy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that video! the best 3 minutes and 15 seconds i'll probably spend all weekend.
looks awesome! can't wait to get home and watch it, if i ever do get home...
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid, I always thought that was one of the coolest and most mysterious picture ever. I read a little about him a year or so ago, and wish there was more information on him. He was definitely a badass!
ReplyDeleteAWWWWESOME. LONG LIVE THE COUNT!!
ReplyDeleteI actually ordered that back in the day during my 'Martial Arts' phase.
ReplyDeleteDidn't help me any....
I begged my parents to order this for me when I was a kid but they never complied. I'd give anything to know the "Dim Mak Death Touch", in fact, I know exactly who I'd use it on right now too if I did know it...
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of info packed into 3 minutes. I look forward to a longer film in the future. thanks for the tip Karswell.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was some pretty fascinating information and I do remember those ads.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I doubt that the "Dim Mak Death Touch" can hold a candle to the "Five Finger Death Punch" and if you get the reference, I also have to add that the Bride could probably take Dante down for the "count".
Bizarre, I was just looking at an old X-Men comic and came across this ad yesterday. What a cool video! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures..!
