ReplyDeleteI love the Purple Claw's line about the Doctor believing his own wild scheme. As opposed to Dr. Gool thinking "Ehhhh, I've come up with this wild scheme of taking over the world with the undead........don't really believe in it but....might as well go through the motions.....it'll give me something to do" ? I would think you'd want your mad scientists to at least have some conviction in their schemes, otherwise they're just not worth battling.

ReplyDeleteAnother cool story. This one would have made a wonderful movie serial (though they would have stretched it out to 15 episodes) with a wonderful "mad scientist" being punched out by the hero at the end.
