A story like this always makes me wonder what would happen to our world if everyone who was ever wrongly murdered actually could simply come back from the dead for vengence? Not with scientific help mind you, but just plain old unwritten laws of the supernatural. I guess Earth would probably get pretty messy...

Great splash page art!
ReplyDeleteJustice from beyond the grave.
ReplyDeleteIt's ironic that the spy was the old man, despite the fact that HITLER is apparently living in the same village! Check out page 3, top right panel!
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS ANOTHER NEAT ATLAS POST USING THE NO COLOR LIVING DEAD APPROACH, LIKE THE LAST REX LANE STORY. IT'S REALLY EFFECTIVE!

ReplyDeleteOh that Hitler!
I like DiPreta alot but I'm never crazy about the color jobs on his horror stories. Everything is too pastel-ish or Eastery colorful, but I do agree with the other comment about the black and white ghost being a really nice touch.
ReplyDeleteWHOO!that's one creepy ghost, and despite no red herrings and a phony death(struck by lightning?),i enjoyed it pretty good.reminds me of the Ghost Squadron stories in WINGS.
ReplyDeleteThere was nowhere else in the castle he could have hidden a radio?
