    These box covers really take me back. I had many of them until our projector broke and my father sold the lot in a garage sale. Your younger readers unfamiliar with these Super 8 versions need to understand how in the days before VCR's and Direct TV, this was the only way to actually own and repeatedly watch a movie you liked. Once a movie left the theatre your only hope of ever seeing it again lay in the hands of the 4 or 5 television channels that sometimes aired these on a weekend afternoon or on the horror late show, and even in these condensed versions this was better than nothing. People are spoiled these days and have instant access to everything they want immmediately, and this to me almost takes a huge chunk of fun out of movies.

    Fascinating! I never knew about these mini horror films, I'm probably not as old as you are though but unlike most of my friends I can appreciate black and white films. I've always wanted to see Bride of Frankenstein. I love the old photos of her!

    I would just rent or buy Bride of Frankenstein, your first taste of one of the greatest films of all time shouldn't be the Castle Films digest version.
