Frozen Alive (Part Two)

When I said the word “epic” in the intro to the first part of Dick Briefer’s legendary Frozen Alive, what I also meant was this single story is REALLY REALLY LONG. Please don't feel cheated since it's Double Post Saturdays, because technically 12 pages divided into two posts still equals two normal length stories anyway.

And now back to the exciting conclusion of--- Frozen Alive!

    Karswell,
The mummies are what I remember the most about this story. I would stare at these pages for hours, the mummies seemed so spooky and perfectly illustrated. On the last page Frankenstein punches one of them and its wrapped head flies off, unraveling the mummy bandage. I remember thinking this was incredibly clever.

Once again I thank you and Mr. Robinson for posting this story! I plan to order The Monster of Fankenstein book now too.

Excellent! The desert madness sequence, the 2-way death choice the pilots had to make, all very original, could have ended right there;with the ice slowly melting, but no!,Briefer throws in an excellent sub-plot that for once,DOESN'T seem tacked on,and lets us see the monster's gentle side.would have been the perfect set-up for a Universal film using Kharis & Imhotep.my only gripe is the (in)convenience of the mummies revival just at that moment.
